The Eureka device can be connected, through its OBD port, to all vehicles manufactured since the mid-1990s, does not require installation, can be simply activated or removed at any time, does not interfere with the operation of the car, and does not invalidate its warranty.

The proposed solution does not require a SIM, does not track the position of the vehicle, is respectful of the user’s privacy, and last but not least, the cost of the device is extremely low.

Eureka devices are based on the ELM327 chipset, a guarantee of extreme reliability, and have been specifically optimized in firmware to ensure operating stability, minimize electrical and battery consumption, increase connection reliability.

No. To ensure customers the best product at the most competitive price, the Eureka solution uses some standard components, including chipset and external chassis, however, firmware and some of the electronics are optimized for Eureka specific needs and functionalities.

In this respect, the solution proposed by Eureka is pretty unique.

No. The Eureka App has been specifically engineered to ensure the best operation with the reference device. In addition, the remote diagnostic capabilities by an affiliated Service Center, require, for security reasons, specific hardware capabilities, and configuration.

No problem. The Eureka device can be simply extracted from the OBD port and reinserted after the completion of the service; configuration and coupling remain registered.

OBD devices are manufactured in China in the Shen-Zen technology district, according to peculiar Eureka design and specs . They are accompanied by international conformity certifications, including the CE mark.

OBD devices use specific international standards to exchange information and interact with vehicle electronic sub-systems. These standards are acknowledged by OEMs and Regulation Authorities to ensure proper diagnostic for independent Service and Repair Centers.

According to the above, incompatibility with a specific model is to be considered rare.

No. To make the Euraka OBD solution completely secure, the  App is prevented from sending any command that can vary the parameters of the vehicle.

Absolutely yes. No personal data is shared with unauthorized third parties.

Only the User, Eureka, and the Dealer / Workshop / Service Center indicated by the User have the right to access the vehicle’s operating logs, in order to provide the services provided by the platform.

Yes, at any time. It is sufficient to send an email to the address: eureka-automotive@pec.it.

The removal of the data in question, including enabling the use of the OBD device, presupposes the termination of the Eureka service.

No. It doesn’t have GPS functionality.

No. They are stored anonymously and used exclusively for statistical purposes (average consumption by type of vehicle, etc.).

Yes. The images in question remain locally on the smartphone and are not transmitted or shared with any server.

The SmartCar app has been developed to be compatible with devices equipped with S.O. Android or iOS and its operation tested on the most popular smartphone models.

Given the continuous evolution of these operating systems and the introduction of new models on the market, it is possible that some devices present critical issues; our Assistance Department is available for support by writing to support@eurekautomotive.it.

No, at the moment the App can be used by the End User completely free of charge.

No advertising platform is included, and any messages are exclusively attributable to the Dealer or Indicator Service Center, in order to be able to provide the diagnostic services and any promotions provided by the platform.

Yes, but obviously in the absence of an OBD device and connection with the Service Center, many of the features provided will not be enabled, such as those relating to diagnostics.

No. The data remains available on the Eureka server and can be resynchronized on the mobile device using the same login credentials.

The data can be permanently removed by the User by sending an email to the address: eureka-automotive@pec.it.

Eureka reserves the right to independently delete User data if the related account has not been used for more than 6 months.

It is sufficient to contact one of the Dealerships or Authorized Service Centers to receive the kit containing the OBD device and the Eureka access credentials, download the App and combine everything.

No need for technical intervention on the car.
