We believe in an interconnected world.

The Internet of Things is the ability of certain devices to interconnect and exchange information, creating a communication and monitoring network to implement a collaborative operating environment.

The concept is not new, introduced in 1999 about Radio Frequency Identification (RFId) technology, but it has recently taken a deeper and more extensive meaning thanks to the evolution in electronic and information technology.

To realize how effective IoT has become in our daily life, we can take as an example the smart climate systems nowadays implemented in many buildings, equipped with interconnected sensors, with the ability to monitor the temperature and adjust several ambient parameters according to human presence, preferences, efficiency, etc.

Another example can be represented by a cluster of intelligent traffic lights, able to synchronize multiple devices according to the conditions of the weather or local traffic, or even self-driving vehicles that will be able soon to exchange in real-time enough information to avoid most accidents and optimize travel times.

Eureka actively uses IoT technology in its solutions; for example, OBD devices to be installed on vehicles, to allow, through a special mobile App, the monitoring of its operation and health and facilitate the diagnoses in case of any fault.

The above experience and competencies are also available to our customers as consultancy services and customizable solutions.
